Carole finds generally people want to contribute and do their best, and at times need someone who will listen to them, appreciate them, and help them to grow. She sees herself as a coach who serves in that role.
Carole's diverse background includes positions in sales, career management, strategic planning, executive coaching/mentoring, marketing, and general management. She has held positions at AT&T, RCA, Lutheran General Hospital, and a corporation in Mexico.
For over 20 years, Carole has enjoyed consulting to corporations on strategic planning, career transition, executive coaching, generational differences management, personal branding, and retirement counseling. Companies she has consulted to include Allstate, Kraft, Rand McNally, Alltel, Ernst & Young, and many more. In addition, she contributed to the start-up of the Career Center at First National Bank of Chicago (now Chase).
Carole holds a BA in Sociology, an MBA in Marketing, and an MA in Counseling from the University of Chicago. She has also received the Senior Human Resources Professional Certification (SPHR) and is a Registered Career Consultant. She has been a guest speaker at numerous professional conferences, presenting on personal branding, adjusting to change, job search techniques, career issues, and the job market. She has been quoted in Fortune Magazine, the Wall Street Journal, and on WBBM (a Chicago radio station).
Carole currently serves as Director of Business Development and Delivery for Trebuchet Group. In this role, she is responsible for sales and doing what she does best: analyzing relationships of members within groups, and using that analysis to help these groups increase effectiveness. Her favorite part of her work is when a client has an "a-ha" moment; that leads to positive change.
In her free time, Carole enjoys classical ballet lessons, walking, exercising at the health club,involvement in community nonprofits, crocheting, playing board games, playing with her dog, and traveling with her husband.
