For Lisa, continual growth, adapting, and learning is essential and non-negotiable. She understands that sometimes it comes in fits and starts, and sometimes small change can be more powerful than a big overhaul.

Lisa has always loved reading, making art, sewing, and following recipes. Taking those skills forward, she wrote procedural documentation, designed promotional pieces at work, designed her own clothing patterns, altered recipes, and invented a cooking game called “spice roulette”.

Life is fascinatingly interconnected, so Lisa believes considering the many aspects related to the whole is important. To that end, she likes working with the details that contribute to the whole mission and vision of the business: sometimes by making of order out of chaos by organizing and putting things in order. She’s an occasional self-described habitual “tidier” at stores – mostly to find something she’s looking for. Lisa likes to set things in motion and tie up the loose ends, as well as help and connect people.

Art, music, language, learning about different cultures, reading, mythology – visually-oriented humanities are big for Lisa. Fitness and movement are important to her – she enjoys yoga, big band swing dancing, and snowshoeing. She lives with two of her three children in Fort Collins, Colorado, fulfilling her wish to live in the place she fell in love with that “feels like home”.
